Working to preserve Westford's natural treasure & continue the camping tradition at East Boston Camps
The mission of the Westford Friends of East Boston Camps is to support the conservation, preservation, maintenance, and improvement of the East Boston Camps open space, including the woodlands, trails, beaches, brooks, ponds, and other wetlands.
The Friends supports the buildings and facilities for limited summer camp, environmental, and educational purposes to benefit the inhabitants of the Town of Westford.
Our Goals
- Preserving the scenic beauty and natural resources of 300 acres of conservation land
- Restoring the historic camp buildings
- Bringing back the tradition of overnight camping
- Supporting events to promote community awareness and appreciation
The Camps need a new bathhouse!
As visitors and campers know, the current bathroom facilities are in dire need of replacement. They don't meet acceptable standards and there are no handicapped accessible facilities. New showers and toilets will help us to rent the buildings, enjoy overnight outings and camping experiences!
"Buy a Brick" for the Bathhouse walkway and leave a lasting family legacy at The Camps and help to pay for the new bathhouse. FIND OUT MORE.
